Pousada Paraiso

The homemade cake Andreia makes at breakfast was delicious, and the meal was more than satisfying. Pousada Paraiso is cozy and close to Mercadinho and restaurants. Thanks to Andreia and Maninho for being so kind and attentive during my vacation in December 2025. I’ll come back sometime.

The island is fantastic, and we had a wonderful time. The owners helped us with useful information, including parking for our vehicle in Paranaguá, a water taxi, and tips on tours. The inn was clean and organized, the bed and bath linens smelled lovely, and breakfast was good. We were well looked after and already want to return.

Everyone was so welcoming, and the service was great. Everything was perfect and better than I expected. I loved it.

We felt at ease from the moment we arrived. Our room was the last one, across from the owners' home, and the stay was very peaceful. The bedding was comfortable and clean, and there was a fan in the room. It was lovely and fun talking with Andreia and Maninho and hearing their stories. One afternoon they surprised us by inviting us to share oysters with them in the yard while they were grilling them au gratin. 💖 I recommend going on a tour with Seu Maninho, who also works as a water taxi. His boat is very comfortable for both tours and the trip to and from the island, and the comfort and safety are worth it.
