Pousada Nereidas

We loved the welcoming feel here and would definitely come back with the rest of our family. It’s a peaceful place on a quiet street, great for relaxing, and Nereidas beach is only 150 meters away. That beach is calm and usually empty. The other beaches and the city center are also close, no more than 7 km from the central beach and downtown. The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. They explained everything clearly and were ready to help with whatever we needed. The price was fair, and our daily rate included breakfast, use of the laundry tubs and clothesline, the kitchen with its fridge and stove, and a barbecue area you can reserve. You can also rent umbrellas, chairs, and beach carts for a good price. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The room had working air conditioning, a minibar, and a TV, and they provided sheets, towels, and blankets. The shower had great water flow, and the inn has its own spacious parking lot.

We spent Christmas here with my family, and those were genuinely happy days. I left feeling cheerful and would absolutely recommend the place. The breakfast was delicious, and it was so handy to rent chairs and a beach umbrella and not have to bring our own bedding or towels. The inn was very comfortable and clean, with a wonderful location near the beach. Shops, a market, gas station, distributor, and ice cream shop were all nearby, so we didn’t even need to take the car out of the garage.

For 360 reais a day, I wouldn’t come back. The room was good and had air conditioning, and breakfast was included, but the food was bad. There were only breads, and every kind was hard. The cake and the “cheese bread” were hard too, and the ham seemed spoiled. The women in the kitchen were in a terrible mood and answered us rudely. It felt like 360 reais down the drain.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was good, but we were treated badly. The receptionist was harsh and rude. Even though they accept dogs, he called my little dog old and scruffy, although she’s only 3 years old. As soon as we arrived, he launched into a lecture about dogs bothering guests without knowing whether mine was a problem. The other receptionist was rude too when we returned the beach chairs. We weren’t treated well, so I don’t recommend it.
