Pousada Recanto das Cores

The location worked well for us, roughly between Praia de Dentro and De Fora in Encantadas, and close to Bar Cavalo Marinho and Restaurante Alice, where the PF is good value. The inn itself has a cheerful, distinctive decor and lots of charm. I loved our trip to Ilha do Mel. My boyfriend and I stayed three nights and Kaka and Rhuana welcomed us warmly, explaining the island and the inn at reception. We stayed in Trilha Verde, a great, clean room with air conditioning, a minibar that gets the beer freezing cold, a comfortable bed, and a really good hot shower. I ate well every morning, the breakfast was delicious. The bar next door has live music until 1 a.m., but the inn provides earplugs. I’m used to sleeping with them, so I popped them in and slept peacefully without any trouble. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return to Ilha and stay at Recanto das Cores again!

I’d never truly rested at a place I was staying before, but I did here. The inn has what a guest needs, and there’s also so much care and affection in how they treat you. The whole experience felt easy, warm, and full of energy. The place has a vibrant feel. Thanks for giving me that experience. I really recommend it, and I’ll be back soon.

The breakfast was simply wonderful, and the place is fantastic, right down to the decor. Rhuana and her partner were incredibly kind and attentive, and Carla was very welcoming too. This was my best experience on Ilha. I highly recommend the inn, and we’ll stay here again.

I booked a room for my parents, and the service was excellent from my very first contact with the inn. Everything was in good working order, from the rooms and breakfast to the leisure area, the shared space, and the spot where you can wash off after the beach before heading to your room. The room has a good air conditioner and shower, plus a TV and minibar. I definitely recommend staying here, and I’m letting you know we’ll be back MK.
