Pousada Boutique Três Marias

If anyone sees this complaint, NEVER book this pousada. At night the street is completely dark with no lighting, and it feels like there’s a risk of being robbed. When it rains, everything turns into a muddy swamp. My car got stuck in one of the many muddy spots. We asked the pousada for help, but they treated us indifferently and paid no attention to what we were going through. We had three rooms for five people, and none of the minibars worked. When we complained, they said they were weak anyway. That’s unacceptable: they couldn’t even cool a bottle of water. The rooms had no microwave and the beds were small. The outdoor hot tub is unusable when it rains. The pool is so small you can hit your head in one dive, as I did on the stairs. There were no mirrors in the rooms, and the service was terrible and inhumane. The price is high compared with many places in Guarujá, especially when even the minibars don’t work. Just awful. The worst experience.

The pousada is nice, the room and bathroom were clean, and the staff service was good. What I didn’t like was the small, dirty pool. The sliced bread at breakfast was hard, and it was Kim brand with claybom margarine. For the nightly price, they could serve better bread and at least real butter.

The room service and all the little touches made the stay feel special. I loved relaxing in the hot tub, taking a break in the hammock, and having breakfast brought to the room. The pool was another lovely place to unwind. The team was attentive and welcoming throughout, and I’d happily come back soon.
