The staff are fantastic, very attentive and helpful, and everything was clean. It’s also very close to the beach. A few things could be improved, though. The room had no shelf under the TV, even though there’s plenty of space there, so putting things on the floor is awkward. The TV was very old and small, and you could only see the picture clearly from straight in front. With two beds and kids wanting to watch at night, that was a problem. Breakfast foods should also have a cover like the kind used to keep flies away. Check-in is at 5 pm, which is rough if you’re planning to stay a few days and arrive with a car full of things that can’t be left heating in the sun.

The inn is cute, clean, and well organized, and the service is very good. Sleeping in a room without air conditioning was really difficult in the heat. The TV was only 14 inches, and with its flat screen the picture went black when you lay down in bed. There’s a barbecue grill, but you have to reserve it before the trip. Still, it’s a good place to stay and I’d come back, but I’d bring two more fans 😂.

Guaiúba Beach was wonderful, close by, surrounded by nature, and had good facilities at the kiosks and beach stalls. The water was calm like a swimming pool, except on the last day when it got rough, probably because the weather changed. I spent Carnaval at Ilha di Capri and loved both the beach and the inn. The place is organized and family-friendly, with a good breakfast, and the owners and staff were friendly and attentive. The owners were also flexible, and it was great value. The rooms were missing a minibar and air conditioning, but Maurício told us he was already arranging to add them soon. With those comforts, it’ll be perfect. I recommend it and plan to come back!
