Village Cozumel

The room I got was completely different from what I'd booked. I reserved a double bed and a trundle bed, but was given a double bed and a bathtub instead. They said the system assigns rooms automatically based on the “number of people.” When I spoke with the person in charge, João, he said they shouldn't even have given me the bathtub key because I hadn't booked that room. Right, they shouldn't have given me that key, and they also shouldn't have left me needing a mattress on the floor for my daughter when I'd booked a trundle bed. She ended up sleeping on the floor. After I skipped room cleaning for one day, I asked for it on Sunday. We got back from the beach at 6:30 pm and there were no towels in the bathroom. My daughters and I had to dry off with our paid rental towels, the ones we'd taken to the beach and brought back wet. They brought towels at 8:30 pm. My daughter went to shower at 7:30 pm and had no dry towel because the laundry hadn't restocked them. This is a Guest House, not an inn. There's no 24-hour reception or security, the street is completely deserted and it's far from everything. If you're traveling with children, you can't walk to the beach. They charge for pool towels too. Breakfast was poor, with little variety, and only served for two hours. Check-in took a long time, with just one person working in a small room. I don't recommend it, wouldn't return, and don't think it's worth what I paid. The place was completely disorganized.

The heated pool and game room were great, and the hotel is close to Praias do Pernambuco and do Mar Casado. You can walk there or drive in about 3 minutes. Everyone working at the hotel was kind, helpful, respectful, and polite, with such good energy. Everything was well cared for and organized. I highly recommend it!

My daughter had such a good time. She got to have fun, relax, and make memories we'll hold onto for a long time. That means a lot to us. We loved our days at Pousada Villa Cozumel. The place is lovely, welcoming, and very well cared for, with a family feel that made us feel at home right away. You can see the care and effort in the details. A special thanks to senhor João and Josué for being attentive, quick to help, polite, and ready whenever we needed anything. You both really made a difference. We'll definitely come back!

Our Studio was really spacious, and Praia de Pernambuco was about a 5-minute walk away. The pool and jacuzzi were heated and lovely, and we could use them at night too. The staff were wonderful, and I have nothing but praise for the whole hotel team. They do everything they can to make guests comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and you can even ask for tapioca or an omelet. It was an amazing stay, and I highly recommend it.
