Comfort Hotel Guarulhos - Aeroporto

If all you need is a somewhat clean bed, this place might do. The rooms aren't the cleanest, and the staff were unpleasant and unwilling to help. The shuttle arrived late at the airport, and it was almost impossible to book one at the front desk. If you need any real customer service, stay somewhere else.

The price felt a little high, though I booked at the last minute after missing a flight, so that's hard to judge. The room was clean, the staff helpful, and dinner was okay. You can't expect an airport hotel to be a memorable stay, and I don't know the other hotels nearby, but I'm sure you could do a lot worse.

I'm surprised by some of the reviews because my experience at Comfort today was great. The staff were friendly, the room clean, and the shower was great. There's a small but well-equipped gym, plus a little shop selling snacks, charging cables, and other bits. I attached photos of the evening buffet, which cost 79.99 RS and was outstanding in my opinion. I've traveled around Brazil a few times and haven't had hotel food like this at this star level. About the plane noise, I'm not sure what people expect when sleeping around 50 meters from an airport runway. The WiFi coverage could be better, though.

The rooms are very basic and don't have drinking water, and there are no alarm clocks in the rooms. I found it strange that the hotel doesn't offer wake-up calls. The shuttle hours and pickup spot aren't published or advertised, which made things really frustrating. The staff were surprisingly inhospitable. I'd choose another nearby hotel; this one missed on a lot of points.
