Hotel Itamiaru

I stay here whenever work takes me through Iguape. I'd recommend it!

Jonas provided impeccable service and was very helpful. The rest of the stay didn't match the price, though. We arrived at 1 a.m. and paid in full, but there was no flexibility on extending checkout. The air conditioners were new, but they're old-style units and noisy. Breakfast was served as individual a la carte portions, not the buffet shown in the Booking.com pictures. Even though there's a huge fruit stand in front of the hotel, we were given just two pieces of melon and two pieces of unripe papaya as fruit options. The minibar was empty, which seemed like a poor business choice to me. For the price, it wasn't worth the experience.

We stayed from 18 to 19 Jan 25 in a triple room facing the street, and it worked very well for us. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, a great shower, air conditioning, and a minibar that cooled quickly. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise: orange juice, fruit, cold cuts, bread, and cake served at the table, with warm and impeccable service. The inn is right in central Iguape, just a few steps from the Basilica. I highly recommend it!

The food was awful. The sauce was just opened from a packet and poured into a dish. My meal was fish fillet with rice and salad. I won't go back or recommend it.
