The location is brilliant, just a two-minute walk from the pier where you arrive and a two-minute walk from the beach on the other side of the island. The family who run the place are warm and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. A very nice, hospitable hotel, with the best breakfast on the island!

The owners and staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The views and atmosphere were lovely, and the breakfast was out of this world. I couldn't fault the service or the place, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Brazil.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff were super friendly. With beautiful beaches on both sides of Pousada Praia do Farol, the setting is amazing. This was my first visit to Ilha do Mel, and it's the best place I've stayed so far. The service was excellent, and I'd really recommend it to anyone planning a visit. Paradise!

We were in one of the lower rooms, and could hear everything our upstairs neighbors said or did. Check-in and checkout also gave us a few problems. The pousada itself is good, and breakfast was amazing.
