The room was decent for the price and the AC worked really well. Staff helped us book activities and arrange the transfer back. We were also allowed to stay after checkout and use the shower before leaving. I’d recommend it if you’re not looking for a cheap place to stay.

We had a really nice, cozy private room with a balcony, and the breakfast was great. But we were right in front of the pier, so there was a lot of noise at night. The island had power cuts in mid January, and with no air conditioning it was hell. I know there wasn’t much they could do about it, but honestly it was the worst experience.

Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. A man who either worked there or owned the place screamed at guests in a really unfriendly way. He also yelled at me in Spanish and Portuguese. When I said I didn’t understand either language well enough, he verbally attacked me and threatened me with a broomstick.

The hostel was very clean and in a great location, and breakfast was nice every morning. There wasn’t a common room or any other place where guests could get to know one another, though. I hope they add somewhere for people to gather.

What a miserable stay. The power kept cutting out, the rooms smelled awful, and the staff were unpleasant.
