I’m only reviewing the restaurant. We waited an hour for a drink, then another hour for the ceviche. The service was among the worst I’ve ever seen: staff were smoking and ignored us despite several requests. The ceviche wasn’t worth it and was definitely overpriced. I wouldn’t go unless you have a lot of time to spare.

This is only about the restaurant. We sat right by the counter, and there were hardly any other customers, but after waiting 20 minutes nobody came to take our order. The staff seemed grumpy and paid very little attention. The prices were far too high, and calling this bad service almost gives it too much credit, since there was no service at all. I wouldn’t recommend going. We visited on January 6, 2025.

The jungle setting is part of the experience, so not everything will be perfect. The water isn’t very hot, electricity may cut out at night, and humidity makes it hard to dry towels and clothes. Still, it’s truly amazing and you should go. The location is fantastic, with a beautiful beach, and Bruno is helpful and always smiling. They have canoes, SUP boards, and snorkeling gear for exploring the area. Breakfast is very good. There’s jungle behind the hotel; wear shoes, especially if you take the left-hand path. It’s amazing, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see monkeys.
