The dog is a huge bonus, honestly. My girlfriend and I both said we’d want one just like him someday. He greets you in the morning, which is a lovely way to wake up, and apparently he has a wild backstory, so ask about it. Renata and Vanessa were fantastic, helping us arrange tours and boat rides and sharing recommendations. They both speak English and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The staff are what make this place special. Obriagdo 🙏 The location is great, the beds are comfy, and the breakfast buffet is a nice extra. The WiFi isn’t very fast, but you’re at the beach, so don’t come here to work. A few beach party spots are nearby, so light sleepers should bring earplugs.

The owner/manager/supervisor is what makes this hotel the best. She speaks a little English, and the hotel has a lot to offer, including a spot very close to the beach. The rooms and bathrooms are both large. Everyone gets breakfast and afternoon coffee with cake or cookies. There’s luggage service to and from the port, though I’m not sure whether it costs extra. I highly recommend staying here. You’ll enjoy it.

The shower can turn cold when the island’s main power is out, which happens often, even though the place has its own electricity. WiFi was 6/10 and breakfast was OK. Still, it was a very nice experience right by the sea, with really lovely people. They even take your bags to the dock for free.

Everyone was very kind and the service was great. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit and juice. On our last day we needed to leave early, and they offered to pack breakfast for us to take along.
