Simple, but really wonderful. We had a great stay at pousada ilha grande, and the breakfast was incredibly good! The best part was Aglaís, who looks after reception and the kitchen. She's just lovely and kind. We'll be back soon, and we'll come by to laugh with her and see her again!

Pousada Cambeba is now called Pousada Ilha Grande. It's in a very good location, with a varied shopping area nearby, and the place is quiet and family run. The service and breakfast were good, and manager sr. Idael is very friendly. The rooms don't have a closet for storing or hanging clothes, though, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work.

I'm a tourist, and it's upsetting and embarrassing to be somewhere so beautiful and have an experience like this. I left money in my room and it was stolen. The concierge said the cleaning person was the only one who had entered, but he knew I had the money because I counted it in front of him to pay. When I went out, I asked whether I'd left the key for them to clean, and he said no, even though he had keys. The concierge got upset, and they wouldn't return my money. They still hadn't paid me back over the following days and told me to call the police. Those two people were involved. I didn't feel safe staying another day. I'm disappointed, and this is the only way I can warn people. You know how much money you have, and I hope this helps you get food.
