We'd been a little worried after reading the Google reviews, but our stay was excellent. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good. It was affordable, too, and the location is great.

Canto Verde is close to the main street, and we had a really pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we could relax easily. Maria-Joana served a great breakfast, and the service was excellent.

The breakfast was excellent every morning, and Marcelo's island tips helped us get more out of our trip. The apartment had everything we needed, and it was clean and comfortable. Marcelo made the stay feel special: he even organized a BBQ, and we shared dinner together on two of our four evenings. Such a warm, memorable time. I'd happily come back and highly recommend staying here!

It's a nice, quiet place, but the service was bad. Check-in was awkward: we were shown to our room and handed a key without a word, with no Wi-Fi password or useful information. The rooms were clean, but the towels kept having what looked like blood stains on them. Pretty nasty. Breakfast tasted good, though there wasn't enough. If you have a normal appetite, having to make one slice of ham and cheese last is frustrating. The quote for a trip through one of their partners was wrong, too. People around here often seem to try to rip you off. We wouldn't recommend staying here. There are much better choices for almost the same price.

The bed was rock hard, the room was dirty, and every towel they gave us was stained. The location wasn't great either. I definitely wouldn't recommend it, there are better options.
