The only thing going for this place is its location right in front of the beach. The room was damp and smelled awful, with a hazardous amount of black mold, especially in the bathroom. There was no soap or shower gel, and no filtered drinking water, so bring your own bottles. When I arrived, there was faeces on the toilet and I had to clean it myself. The floor hadn't even been vacuumed. The sheets were dirty and stained, as were the mattress and towels. I’m genuinely worried there may be bedbugs. There also seemed to be a colony of ants in the room. The WiFi barely worked, and the fridge was so noisy it was hard to rest. This place is unhygienic, badly maintained, and completely unacceptable. I strongly advise people to avoid it.

The location was good, and the assistant did try to help us. Apart from that, the place was a real disappointment. The WiFi didn’t work, the rooms were broken, and breakfast was poor. I hate leaving negative reviews, but that was our experience.

Avoid this agency under the pousada. Fernando, who sells tours there, gave us misleading information to get us to buy one. He claimed he was from Praia Aventureiros, that camping was included for 25 reias, and that a boat from Aventureiros to Angra left every day at 4.30 for 40reais. We bought the tour, but once we arrived in Aventureiros, we found out he wasn't from there. Nobody knew him, he had no arrangement with the campsite he said belonged to his aunt, and there were no boats going to Angra from Aventureiros. Now we're stuck in Aventureiros and have to take a bus from Angra to Sao Paulo. We don't know how to get back to Angra. Fernando is a liar and very manipulative. Avoid this agency.

Easy to get to and a great base for Ilha Grande. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly and had good tips about tours and other things.
