The room was tiny, and the bathroom was really dirty, with gnats and mold. Our safe was broken. Breakfast was mostly bread and cakes, and the WiFi was down for two days before they fixed it. We had to leave the room key in the box behind the desk, but nobody watches it, even though there's a camera pointed at the keys. Our room was cleaned just once in 3 days. We also had to ask for towels and soap when we arrived. Wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were nice and helpful, I should add. Still, the rooms are shabby, and the toilets are stained. The corridor constantly smells of cooked oil, while the room is dominated by a sewage smell. If you're expecting a hotel, this is more like a run-down hostel with some private rooms. Don't expect much.

The location is really handy when you're carrying a bag through the sandy streets, and that's a plus. But after reading all the glowing reviews, we were a bit puzzled. Our room smelled bad and felt old, so it wasn't comfortable to spend time in. Breakfast was one of the worst we've had. Not sure whether the food was old or just super cheap, but we couldn't touch most of what was offered. Wouldn't recommend it.
