The location is great, right across from a shopping center with a way to cut through it and reach the beach. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and the grounds felt peaceful, green, and lovely. But the bed was unbearable. The mattress felt like lying on wood, and after five days my back was still hurting ten days after I got home. We weren't offered a downstairs room even though the guesthouse was empty, so hauling our bags down was a struggle. The pool could really use heating too. I only got in for a photo because the water was freezing.

The property is attractive, feels safe, and is in a good spot. Service could be quicker and more considerate, though. During our stay in June 2024, it was hard to reach the person in charge because they were often away. We ran into a few issues and waited a long time for help: there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms when we arrived, the bunk beds had no sheets, and the shower kept going cold before it was fixed. That made the stay less enjoyable. We also skipped the pool because it wasn't heated and was very cold.
