I booked three days and wanted to share both the good points and the problems, in the hope it helps future guests and gives the owner a chance to improve. The pool was a big reason for our trip, but it was dirty when we arrived, with lots of leaves and insects. A man cleaned it the next day and we used it plenty, but by our last day it was dirty again and we couldn't use it. So we missed out on the pool for two days. The house is under construction, and even though the work area was separated off, repairs were also happening in the main house. The construction noise kept us from sleeping in. The garage only fits two cars, so when all three suites are rented, one car has to stay on the street. The location is between the beaches, which means you need a car to get to one. We also heard the hosts arguing about money upstairs. That's not by itself my complaint, but with them living so close by, it didn't feel nice to hear. There were some good things too. The hosts were welcoming and polite, the room was clean, and towels and a little welcome treat were already there. Our room faced the pool and was well equipped: fridge, TV, two racks, a pallet shelf, air conditioning, crocheted rugs, a great pillow, and a ceiling fan. The outdoor cooking area was great, with a barbecue, sink, microwave, and fridge. We did notice a few ants in the otherwise clean room. I have nothing against the place, but these are things that need improvement. I understand construction is underway, but guests should be told about it when booking.

The pool was our main reason for booking, not the location or breakfast. I understand wind may have blown dirt into it, but that means it needs more frequent attention. Cleaning it every other day still leaves someone on a three-day stay without the pool for two days. To be clear about the location, I didn't say it was bad, only that you can't walk to the beach. Construction should be disclosed during the WhatsApp booking conversation. There is no kitchen because this isn't an inn, so we brought a trash bag from home to take away the food we'd eaten in the room. The food scraps and poorly disposed rubbish were upsetting, and I felt the response to my feedback was harsh. There were large ants as well as small ones, including in the bathroom. Since there's no reception, I think there should be set hours for getting help.

The owners were really sweet and attentive. The place looked lovely and was very tidy, with a nice fresh smell, especially around the pool. The pillows were the one thing that let it down. We were there for just one day, arriving at 7 p.m. and leaving at 4:30 a.m., so I can't really comment on a longer stay.

We loved staying here. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Nothing to complain about, we'll definitely come back and are already recommending it to everyone! ✨
