I speak only a little Portuguese, but felt welcome here and found it easy to connect despite the language barriers. The staff and volunteers were accommodating and easy to interact with. The hostel has a lot to offer, and on weekend evenings the bar also draws local people from the island. I had a great stay!

The hostel in Vila really feels like home, with a surreal vibe and a spot close to everything. It's wonderfully clean, and the breakfast is excellent. We were helped in the middle of the night by the sweetest receptionists, Carlos and Gustavo. They were attentive and always ready to help. I'll definitely return!

A beautiful, very social hostel with a pool. The beds weren't very comfortable, but having a curtain and a PowerPoint was great.

It's such a peaceful, beautiful hostel, surrounded by nature and lovely views, a great place to relax. The staff are warm and helpful and really make you feel at home. I'll definitely be back!
