2/10
The location is perfect, within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and bars in Vila. The main building has beautiful architecture, the rooms are cozy and spacious, and the pool is amazing. But at checkout they tried to charge us an "optional" 10% service fee, or 180 reais, for the staff. When we refused, they accused us of stealing towels and kept insisting we pay. That behavior was poor and kind of ruined what had otherwise been a really good experience.

We’ll definitely come back to Real Villa Bella. The prices are very affordable and not much higher than those of much simpler hotels around Ilhabela. We loved the delicious breakfast and wonderful restaurant, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff were great too, and the pool was clean and amazing. Best hotel I’ve stayed at.

Right across from the yacht club, so the location is very convenient. The garden and pools are beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. Service and breakfast were fantastic.

We had trouble with the Wi-Fi in our first room, and they moved us to a Prime room. We were really happy with the hotel’s customer service.

The staff were nice, the place is lovely, and both the food and service were very good. It’s welcoming to families and dogs.
