Fantastic.

I spent the penultimate weekend at this inn. We arrived around midnight on 20/02, and at check-in I told the receptionist our stay was through Sunday, 22/02. So far, everything was fine. The next morning my wife and I had breakfast and went to the beach. It was a great day until we got back and tried to enter our room. There was a man lying on the bed, and at first I thought we'd gone into the wrong room. We hadn't. The couple had checked into the inn that afternoon, and reception had assigned them Suite 09, which was our room. Staff had removed all our belongings from Suite 09 and moved them to Suite 10 while we were out. It was a huge invasion of privacy for my wife and me. The staff were completely unprepared and the service was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this place even for free. I know my rights and responsibilities, and they can expect to hear from me. Absolutely infuriating.

I did enjoy the inn overall. It's attractive, rustic, cozy, and close to Curral beach. The pool and rooms were clean. But there were several frustrating issues. Cell service doesn't reach the property, and the hotel's Wi-Fi never worked for me. I had to go into town every day I needed to work during my five-day stay. The bathroom has no shower enclosure, so water gets everywhere, and the double-bed comforter was so small it only covered me from the waist down. I left my dog at home because they said pets weren't allowed, yet two cats that belonged to the inn wandered all over, even through the breakfast area. I couldn't understand whether pets were allowed or not. Staff don't wear uniforms, so it was hard to tell guests from employees.

We had a lovely stay and plan to return. The inn was clean and well located, just a short distance from Curral beach, and the breakfast was tasty.
