The room was comfortable for what I paid: it had a clean, sanitized bathroom, a quiet air conditioner, and a comfortable box bed. The place is rustic and easy to get to. I’ve paid more for places that offered less comfort than this. It met my expectations, and the staff were very kind and always ready to help. Sr, Carlos was especially attentive and has wonderful charisma. My highest rating, since it delivers what it promises for its category and price.

The only thing I can give credit for is Rodrigo’s attentive service. The room had a very strong chemical smell, apparently from varnish on the ceiling, and the sheets and pillow were overloaded with fabric softener scent. A terrible stay.

Clean, nicely located, and affordable. They welcomed us warmly. I recommend it.

The room was clean and breakfast was fair, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. But the service quality fell far below what we expected after reading other guests’ reviews. We were a couple, and even though the pousada was nearly empty, they put us in a room where the bathroom door wouldn’t close. It faced the street, so motorcycles were noisy during the night. The shower gave electric shocks, and we couldn’t get hot water. The air conditioner was loud and hard to keep at a steady temperature. Working outlets were hard to reach both in the room and in other shared areas, and the minibar didn’t look inviting to use. The pousada only told us one price and room type, the one we stayed in, at R$180 per day.
