Tokaya was a lovely place for my husband and me to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. We stayed in one of the suites, just what we wanted, and the complimentary hammock was perfect for an afternoon nap or watching the stars at night. The restaurant wasn't open during our weekend stay, but that really wasn't a problem. Next door, a lovely restaurant serves breakfast and dinners that were among our favorite food during our time in Brasil. The whole area feels like magic, with gorgeous beaches, loads of palm trees, and nature everywhere. You can almost picture what Brasil might have looked like hundreds of years ago. This could be one of my favorite places in the whole country. If you're after peace, nature, and fabulous beaches, it's absolutely the place for you.

The view is beautiful, and everyone working there was so nice. It has such a peaceful, family feel to it, just right if you want somewhere quiet. I’ll definitely come back.

Being between the sea and the river was perfect, and the staff took great care of us. I did miss having air conditioning, though. Apart from that, everything was great. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a sea-facing suite, and waking up to that beautiful view was amazing. At night, we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. The food was excellent too, and the restaurant service was top-notch.
