It’s right by the beach and promenade, in a convenient spot, and we didn’t notice any safety concerns. The staff were great, though only one spoke English really well. We’re thinking about bringing our younger kids next time. The rough boat ride back was the one downside: the water was choppy and lots of people got sick. I’ve heard that return trip is usually pretty rough. Still, it’s a fantastic hotel and I’d recommend it.

We stayed here for six lovely days in early February with my husband and son, and would definitely come back. The inn is right in the heart of 2a praia, with bars, restaurants, little grocery shops and its own very good restaurant, Corsário, close by. The staff were attentive everywhere, from reception to the beach and restaurant teams. Our room faced the garden at the back, a quieter spot. It was clean and very nice, with Granado amenities. The bathroom ventilation could be better, though, since swimsuits take a long time to dry. There’s beach and pool service, plus towels. Breakfast was very good, but it only runs from 8 to 10:30. That was the only real downside for us because we like getting to the beach early. Starting at 7 would make it perfect.

The inn is in a great spot facing the second beach, and you can enjoy the view while having breakfast. They provide beach loungers and umbrellas, with restaurants nearby and the village not far away. The room was clean and really comfortable, and the pool was clean too. Breakfast had plenty of local food, plus omelets or tapioca made to order. I only missed having lactose-free milk or yogurt. The staff were kind and polite. There was loud music from the neighboring inn at night, but we couldn’t hear it from our room. I’d definitely recommend it for a comfortable, peaceful stay.

The location is excellent, and the beach service was very good, with some genuinely tasty options. The receptionist was welcoming and attentive, which made arrival and our interactions pleasant. Still, the stay felt middling, with quite a few things needing attention. Breakfast was cramped and rigidly scheduled from 8 to 10:30, which made it hard to get out early for a trip or the beach. There wasn’t much choice for people who don’t eat meat, and some food didn’t seem fresh. The pão de queijo was hard, as if it were from the day before, and the coffee was poor. The room was dark, had almost no natural light and didn’t get enough air. Clothes and towels wouldn’t dry there, and even on the fully enclosed balcony they stayed damp. That was especially inconvenient because towels weren’t changed every day. There was also a noticeable mildew and vinegar smell. The TV wasn’t smart and had no movie channels, which was a problem when I spent two full days in the room because of bad weather. There’s potential here, but several details need work for the comfort to match the price.
