Pousada do Vento Tranquilo

The inn itself is lovely, the location is great, and the rooms are well equipped. I really enjoyed the pool. The stay had some real drawbacks, though. Our room had countless leaks, and rain kept coming down for two days, leaving the room wet. They also don't clean rooms during the stay like other inns and hotels do. We only got fresh sheets and towels after asking. Breakfast was disappointing: no scrambled eggs, and the juice came from a packet, which put me off having that big hotel-style breakfast. I'm not sure I'd stay there again.

We spent 7 days there and loved how calm and organized the inn was, with no noise. The reception and breakfast staff were polite and always helpful, and the pool was wonderful. It's a very easy walk to the center. Getting to the beach and lagoon takes around 30 minutes on foot, but the walk is easy. I'd definitely recommend it!

The location was the one good thing for us, but there wasn't much else to recommend. My family has four people, and the cabins for four felt extremely cramped. We'd seen that there was a play area, but it had been removed to make room for more rooms. The whole place feels tight, including the parking. Cars barely fit, and there's little space to maneuver or get in and out. Honestly, I wouldn't return.

It's a shame, because we used to stay there in other months of the year, and it used to be better. I asked for a quote for three days this Carnival, but they bluntly told me stays had to be five days. If that's the rule, we can't stay there. They won't be seeing us for the rest of the year either.
