Jean and Paula, the owners, are a lovely, gentle couple, and the staff deserve five stars too. Breakfast was amazing, and in the afternoons I loved listening to all the different birds singing. The place is close to both South and North Praia do Rosa, right in front of the famous " Centrinho do Rosa ". It’s a beautiful, rustic place for anyone who enjoys that kind of setting, and a peaceful, quiet spot. I highly recommend it!

The Argentinians who run Pousada Makani are so friendly, true hermanos, and they welcomed our little dog without any trouble. My partner and I visit Praia do Rosa regularly, and this was the best place we’ve stayed. The rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is brought to the door, and the inn’s internal access to the town center makes getting around so easy. The value is excellent. We’ll definitely return, and from now on we’ll stay at Makani on every trip to Rosa.

The inn staff were really friendly and helpful, and there’s secure parking. I especially enjoyed breakfast, fresh and delicious every day. A great place to rest.

The apartments have everything you need, breakfast is wonderfully generous, and there was a little extra left in the fridge that we loved. My partner and I felt right at home during our 10-day stay. Paula and Jean took excellent care of us. We’d absolutely come back. Thanks so much! 🙃

Jean greeted us when we arrived and was very easy to talk to. He shared lots of tips on things to do and places to eat in Praia do Rosa. The spacious accommodation had everything for a comfortable stay, including beach chairs and an umbrella, and we arrived tired from the trip to find some treats waiting for us. The location is so good that we didn’t need the car, with an exit onto the main street of the town center. Everything from booking through arrival went perfectly. It’s well worth a visit, and congratulations to Jean on the inn and how well he runs it.
