The covered parking area fits at least two cars, and I felt safe arriving late at night because the street was calm. The owner was attentive and the location worked well for my AC/DC show. He even offered to drive me and some other guests there, though I had another commitment beforehand. The bed was comfortable, the service was great, and the minibar got incredibly cold. My water was ice cold, which was lovely. I did wish there had been soap sachets and at least one more shampoo, since I’d forgotten to bring them. Apart from that, it was an easy, pleasant stay.

We were a group of seven staying for a company convention over three days, with three rooms reserved and paid for in advance. At check-in, we were told we had to switch rooms, which felt disorganized. The rooms smelled strongly of mold, and four people in our group who have rhinitis or sinus issues had allergic reactions and needed to buy medicine. Trying to treat the smell with bleach only made things worse. There were safety concerns too. Water from the shower ran out of the bathroom stall, then seeped down the stairs because of a leak, creating a real risk of someone falling. The doors had bars and padlocks, and the balcony had no barrier, with direct access to the garage, which was completely open to the street. We asked to change rooms or get a refund so we could find somewhere else, but got no concrete solution. Communication was only by WhatsApp and there was no effective follow-up. The stay brought more discomfort than rest. We wouldn’t recommend this pousada to people with respiratory sensitivities or anyone looking for an organized, safe place. I hope management treats this as a chance to improve.

I found that really unpleasant, especially since I’d recommended the pousada to my coworkers. We were there for a company convention and had booked four rooms. A very kind woman welcomed us when we arrived, but after that nobody was available to help in person, only over WhatsApp.
