Vida Sol e Mar Eco Resort

Rodrigo, his family, and the whole team went above and beyond for our guests, including our grandparents. We couldn’t have picked a better place or team for our wedding. The restaurant Engenho do Mar, which is part of the resort, deserves a lot of praise for both its really good food and kind staff. They spoke Portuguese, English, and Spanish, so communicating with our guests was easy. The owners and managers set a tone of real care and dedication. My wife and I got married at Vida Sol e Mar in November 2024, and about half our guests came from other countries, mainly the USA. Many arrived early, so we all got to enjoy the resort for a few days before and after the wedding. The views are amazing, and it’s a short walk to the beach and local shops. The accommodations were clean and well kept, with a real beach feel. If you can, try renting one of the beach Vilas. They’re especially nice and worth it. The resort, restaurant, and venue all have amazing views, the food is really good, and the staff’s kindness and attention are hard to match. Thank you, Rodrigo and everyone at Vida Sol e Mar and Engenho do Mar, for making the time unforgettable!

The resort made guests from all over feel comfortable, including arranging airport travel, suggesting local excursions and services, and printing English menus for the American guests. The whole staff was outstanding, professional, friendly, and proactive. We heard so many compliments about the food, the resort, and the team, and ended up with the wedding of our dreams. We can’t wait to return. We’re a Brazilian-American couple, with half our guests from each country, and couldn’t be happier that we chose Vida Sol e Mar. Our wedding day was beautiful, just what we’d hoped for and more. The restaurant food was delicious, the resort views were stunning and made for amazing wedding photos, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We’re so grateful to the team for making everyone feel welcome.

Praia do Rosa is a long, busy beach surrounded by nature on the southern coast of Santa Catarina, Brasil, and it’s well known with surfers. There are lots of restaurants, most serving the catch of the day along with other dishes. Parking can be tough on weekends and during high season.

The warm, beautiful lake in the middle of the beach was a favorite. The beach itself is really good, though the waves might be too strong for families. I still loved it overall.
