Malia Beach 302D

We had a lovely time here. There are plenty of things to do around the complex, with pools in different sizes for kids of all ages, plus play areas for children and adults. The children's area is air-conditioned, though its toys could use an update. There’s also a grill, sports courts, adult games, a workspace, a gym, a good restaurant, and a 24-hour convenience store with prices like the supermarket a few blocks away. Staff and guests were friendly and attentive. It feels especially suited to families, but couples can enjoy it too. The complex is close to the beach and far from the center. There aren’t nearby places to eat on the beach or rent chairs and umbrellas, though the complex lends those out. We would have found cribs useful, and with only two baby high chairs at the restaurant, getting one was difficult. The place is beautiful, and I recommend it.

A terrible stay. We were put in a different unit from the one we chose when booking, and the room had no hair dryer. The shower flooded the whole bathroom, and there wasn’t even a soap holder. The restaurant and reception teams seemed unwilling to help. Food took a long time, our order was written down wrong and sent to another unit, and the meat came out extremely dry and burnt. Breakfast was the same every day, with very few choices and nothing for people who are lactose intolerant. I don’t recommend it.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the service was just as good. All the staff treated us well. We had a great time and got plenty of rest during our two days there.

Angélica was so kind, attentive, and available, and made us feel right at home. Her flat was spotless, beautiful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. Everything worked well, and the location was great, so the stay felt easy from beginning to end. I only wish we’d stayed longer. We’ll absolutely come back and recommend it wholeheartedly. A 10/10 experience!
