Pousada Mar do Sonho Praia

The bathroom had no toilet paper, and the toilet was broken and leaking. There was even a lizard in the room. Breakfast had very little variety. The room didn't match the photos: the bed was broken, so we had to sleep on the mattress on the floor. It was already late, there was no other room available, and we couldn't find another inn. When it rained, water came into the room, and the air conditioner didn't work, so we woke up sweaty and far too hot. A terrible stay. I don't recommend it.

I spent just one emergency night here, and wouldn't recommend it. There wasn't even drinking water for sale, and no soap. The toilet paper was awful, and breakfast was very basic. The service was poor too, the attendant stayed on her phone and seemed completely uninterested. The pool was dirty. This place barely qualifies as an inn.

A quiet street, a good double bed, and a small bathroom where everything worked. The air conditioning worked properly too. It's a simple, fairly priced inn with attentive service and really tasty breakfast. Great value for money. I'd recommend it.

For a one-night emergency stop, it did the job: a night's sleep, breakfast, and a quick swim in the pool were all good. But for two nights or longer, I don't think it deserves to be called Pousada Mar dos Sonhos. I'd call it a “MINI POUSADA D'flex” instead. The name promises dreams, but a longer stay could turn into a nightmare 😁
