Serrambi beach house

The rooms were roomy, and the staff were kind and helpful. I also enjoyed the spa, though it felt a little expensive. My favorite touch was the cake they sent my mum for her birthday during our stay, such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself feels very luxurious, with large pools and the sea close by. We visited in low season, so it wasn't crowded. The pool edges could use some renovation, though.

We spent seven nights here and I'd happily return. The gardens and huge pools were beautiful, clean, and in great shape, and the room looked almost new. It was spacious, spotless, and had a great ocean view. The shower was seriously powerful and hot. We chose half board, which worked really well for us. The menu changed daily, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. At the beach and pool, drink service could be quicker. It took a while to get my order, though the staff were always friendly and professional. More attentive service there would have made things even better. Some people mentioned drink prices. Cocktails and beer seemed pretty normal to me, and the water, juice, and soda prices were high but not unusual for a resort. I didn't mind, as it was just my wife and me. A family would need a bigger budget for drinks and extras. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful week here. The resort is so large that it was easy to feel like we had our own private spot to relax. A big thank you to Management for bringing in Ticia Carvalho. What an amazing singer! We'll be back.

Getting into central Porto was easy by buggy or taxi, with food shops and entertainment there. The resort itself was beautiful, and the grounds were kept in great condition. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Santiago, the surf instructor outside the beach, was great too. I'd highly recommend staying here.
