Hotel Pousada da Água Santa

Really good.

The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and breakfast was simple but tasty. My room faced a busy avenue, though, and there was also a bar nearby with loud live music. It seems like that may be an issue at most hotels in town. I paid 200.00 reais for one night, which felt expensive for what they offer. There’s no garage, so the car stays on the street, and you need to watch the rotating parking rules.

Decent value for the money, but I think they need to do a better job cleaning the rooms.

It’s a great option if the alternative is sleeping in your car or on a park bench.
