Casa Blanka 2010 Eco Surf Guest House

Good price, and it was very clean. It’s close to markets, the beach, bars, and restaurants, and has a family feel rather than a party hostel. There wasn’t much staff around, but the owner gave me her phone number so I could text if I had a question.

Tucked away on a little street behind Pituba street, the hostel is still close to everything: the bus station, beaches, supermarket, restaurants, and Pituba street. It’s quiet, though some dogs may bark at night, and I bet you can hear them everywhere. We got upgraded to a huge room with great ventilation. The toilets were super clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the common areas were superb. We met some nice travelers, and I was amazed they kept everything clean until I met the woman who does the cleaning. She was very respectful and kept our room tidy and clean. Sara and her husband are great hosts, speak English and Portuguese, and gave us good tips around town and nearby. We wished we could stay longer. 100% recommended!

The owner is on site and speaks English, Portuguese, and Italian, if I remember right. Casa Blanka was a wonderful experience, nice and super clean. I’d personally book here again before trying anywhere else.

The hostel was tidy throughout, and the hosts were friendly. It’s a nice, quiet place for anyone who wants to relax while visiting Itacaré.
