Mais Que Nada - Hostel & Patio-Bar

The central location is great, and the street itself is quiet enough to relax. I stayed two weeks at Mais que nada and felt at home as soon as I walked in. Breakfast is included, with four choices, and they'll prepare it for you in the common area any time before noon. The staff speak excellent English and are always willing to help. It was easy to meet people here. Most of the guests I got to know became friends, so it’s a fun place to stay when travelling alone. The volunteers were really laid back, and we spent a lot of time hanging out. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Itacaré. Thanks!!!

I originally meant to stay a week, but Mais Que Nada and Itacare kept me there for almost a month. It felt like home, and the atmosphere was welcoming, respectful, and lively. Thea is a wonderful host, the volunteers are great, and the Monday parties are a lot of fun. I worked remotely while I was there without any problems. I tried the dorm, shared room, and private room, and all were excellent. Thea is attentive about getting any issues sorted promptly. The location worked perfectly for me, near enough to the part but far enough away to sleep peacefully. The gym and sunset viewpoint are just a few steps away. Breakfast was luxurious and delicious. If you surf, ask reception to connect you with Kaique and Rayan, two excellent instructors who make it fun. I can’t wait to come back! ♥️

A great café in Itacaré, with really good breakfast and a lovely atmosphere. They often have live music in the evenings. Whenever I had a question, the staff were quick to help and shared useful information about tours and things to do. Special mention to JOSEFINA, who was always smiling and super helpful. Highly recommend!

I stayed in the 8p dorm and really liked it. There was plenty of space, good air conditioning, lots of storage in and out of the room, and a large private bathroom with a great hot shower. The balcony looked out over the bar, which wasn't ideal on Monday night. Breakfast was delicious and creative. It’s a social hostel, but you can still find some peace and quiet, and there’s a shared kitchen too. Highly recommend!
