It exceeded what I expected. The rooms were tidy, the pool was nice for late afternoon, and breakfast was ordinary.

We went as a family and rented a double room, 106, and a triple room, 03. The double was perfect, but the triple had only been half painted. The pousada overall is cozy, breakfast is great, and the staff are very helpful. Ask for tapioca! Guilherme especially looked after us from beginning to end. The downside is there’s no parking, so we had to leave the car on the street, where spaces are hard to find and the car could get towed. I’d give it 8.5.

The pousada is downtown near the village walkway, and the breakfast is incredible. Everything tasted great, and the women preparing it deserve praise for both their warmth and their cooking. There’s also coffee and biscuits if you want something in the afternoon or evening. The receptionists were friendly and open to making arrangements. My parents couldn’t arrive Friday and got there Saturday close to 11, but the staff waited and didn’t charge them for breakfast. At checkout, we asked to leave at 4pm and they agreed. My five-year-old brother stayed in the double room, and there was no extra charge for that either. We didn’t pay anything extra. A few suggestions: add parking, somewhere to hang beach clothes, and improve the room cleaning.
