The location is fabulous, right opposite Tiririca beach. My wife, our two children and I spent six days at the pousada, and we could swim or surf first thing in the morning without walking half an hour. The beach is right there. We had room Kalanchoe Nago on the top floor, with a marvelous view of the beach. It was spacious and suited our family, with a double bed and two single beds for the children. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very tasty on the main veranda. I've stayed at many pousadas in Brazil, and this is my favorite.

You can currently book this beautiful place through Airbnb or their website. The beach view is there every morning, and the breakfast comes with plenty of fruit. Criz, the owner, looks after the place with great attention to detail and is working on adding more vegan options. I'm looking forward to that on our next visit, as my family and I will definitely come back. The staff are well trained, thorough and very friendly. Criz speaks English and Netherlandese, so communication was easy.

By the beach, Shangri-la has the peace, calm and harmony I was looking for, in a simple, rustic setting. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Itacaré ❤️

The staff were really nice, and the beach and surrounding nature are beautiful. The hotel itself is small, rustic, and a little run-down, but we loved our stay.
