The two women on staff were the only bright spot. They treated us warmly and cleaned our room every day. The rest was a letdown: the social media photos gave a misleading impression, and the inn badly needs renovation, especially the bathroom, which smelled awful. I couldn't tell whether it was the drain or the water. The shower only got hot at night, and there was no electricity when we arrived. During the day and again at night, a truck drilling a well or cistern next door made a huge racket. Breakfast was terrible, with no juice and even some spoiled food. The pool was dirty throughout all seven days of our stay. There were seven of us, and none of us would return or recommend this place.

The location worked really well for me, about 50 meters from Praia da Concha and roughly 500 meters from Pituba. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Dine. Breakfast was excellent, with the kitchen staff making fresh tapioca and scrambled eggs. The place was spotless, even the pillows smelled clean, and there’s a leafy garden area and a nice little pool. The breakfast space is rather small, so some guests end up waiting on their feet, which feels uncomfortable. Wi-Fi didn’t reach the rooms, though it worked at reception, and that wasn’t an issue for me because my own internet was enough. The shower water tasted a bit brackish, perhaps because it comes from a well, though I’m not sure; it didn’t bother me, but some people may dislike it. Good value for the money. I enjoyed it and recommend it.
