I only booked at the last minute after finding this pousada on booking.com, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the staff were a very pleasant surprise. I’d originally planned to stay four days and ended up staying ten. On my first day, I told Jorge I was vegan and asked whether breakfast had anything for me. He was happy to help, and the cooks made tapioca crepes each morning to have with fresh fruit. Jorge and his partner also had great suggestions for places around Itacare throughout my stay. On my last day, Jorge arranged a taxi to the airport at a much more reasonable price than other taxis. Thanks to the hospitality at Pousada Voo Da Aguia, I had an amazing trip in Itacare and would definitely return on my next trip to Bahia.

I spent seven days here and found the rooms and facilities excellent. There’s even a playroom for relaxing on rainy days, and Wi-Fi as well. The pool wasn’t available, though there are plenty of beaches to visit in Itacare. The inn is only a few blocks from downtown but sits in a quiet area away from the noise. Jorge and the staff were friendly, the breakfast had fresh food, and the price was low for such top quality.

A pretty pousada with great value, a very good breakfast, and owners who were extremely kind and responsive. Depending on who else is staying there, you may want to bring earplugs.

We spent four days here and I loved it. The inn is cozy in every corner and surrounded by nature. It’s close enough to Pituba, the liveliest part of town, to walk there easily. We parked on the street since there’s no parking, and had no problems. The reception staff were helpful, friendly, calm, and polite. Our room was clean and airy, with a great shower, and the windows had mosquito screens that helped us sleep peacefully. Breakfast was very good. I recommend it and would come back!
