The food was fantastic, and it’s a super place.

The setting is a big part of what makes this place special. It’s on Praia Brava in Itajaí, one of the prettiest spots in our city, with beautiful scenery and plenty of native areas still around as it only begins to be explored. There are also lots of shops, a mall, and high-end apartments nearby. The hotel itself is high standard, with excellent rooms and impeccable service. I really recommend it!

The rooms had a damp smell, and the drains and sinks were clogged. Everything felt cramped, and the pretty decor was uncomfortable. Breakfast was confusing and uncomfortable too. The staff were polite, but didn’t seem trained. It was awful, and nothing felt fancy. The biggest problem was the cold shower. The boiler was broken, and nobody canceled the stay or told guests ahead of time, so you arrive and can’t shower. We had to leave because there was only cold water. We know unexpected things happen, but they could have warned guests, canceled the booking, or sent us to another hotel. Hot water is the bare minimum. A fancy hotel with no shower, what a trap!

The beach was great for swimming, and a special mention to the staff member who serves guests there. The employees were polite and helpful. Breakfast was incredible, and the hotel was wonderful, truly five-star.
