The chalets are cozy, but they needed more attention to cleaning before guests arrived. The place itself is nice, though getting there is tricky. There aren’t any nearby stores, so bring food with you.

It’s a nice place to visit, but the nightly rates should reflect the location. They charge about the same as an inn in Porto de galinhas.

The road was awful, and the place itself was even worse. There was no TV, the internet didn’t work, and they didn’t even have toilet paper. I’d stayed somewhere else that had towels, pillows, and everything. The caretaker here was really kind, though, and brought us a TV and treated us very well. The pool is great.

The outdoor area is the best part, with a large, clean pool and a bar and games area that has what you need. It’s a peaceful spot for resting, but there are no shops or banks nearby. It’s about a 20-minute drive along a dirt road, and be careful of getting stuck if it rains. The property is past O Sossego, and the beach has a lot of dirty sargassum. There’s no service beyond renting the chalets. The chalet is very basic, with no TV, no electric shower, and a tiny bathroom. One bedroom has air conditioning and the other has a fan, but the wall-mounted fan only reaches two of the room’s four beds.

The peace and quiet left me very happy, and the scenery and beaches are beautiful. We spent the year-end holiday here with my family, and I’m definitely planning to return. The chalet was lovely, clean, and well organized. Sr. Bira, the caretaker, was very attentive and helpful, and Sra. Rejane is a wonderful person.
