Hostel Pe Na Praia Itanhaém

The hostel fell short of the advertised description and basic expectations for comfort, privacy, organization, and safety. There were serious problems with the kitchen and security. The fridge didn’t work, there was no microwave to heat food, and the appliances were in very poor condition. The fridges were all marked with permanent marker to identify items, which looked careless; a simple sign would have been more organized. The front gate stayed open day and night with no entry control, and the room door locks were broken, so we had to use a padlock. No one asked us for identification. Privacy was another concern. There was a built-in cabinet in the room that guests weren’t allowed to use, but it held personal belongings and clutter. During our stay, the housekeeper asked to enter the room to take things from it, which felt inappropriate and intrusive. The cabinet was completely open, which made us uncomfortable and concerned about privacy. Rest was difficult too. The ceiling fan didn’t work and the bedding was in very poor condition. There was excessive noise through almost the entire required quiet period, from 22:00 to 09:00. Someone kept vacuuming, people talked loudly in the corridor, and on the penultimate day there was machine noise, apparently from a makita, and hammering. The bathroom toilet seat was broken and badly fitted, and the glass in the door to the balcony was broken, which seemed unsafe. We were only told on the last day that we could have used the air conditioning during our stay, but it was broken anyway. They should have told us that from the start. The reception and information for guests were poor throughout.

We had a wonderful stay at hostel pé na praia in March 2026. The hosts do everything they can to make you feel welcome and at home, which is what matters most to me. I’ll definitely return!

We stayed in January and February and loved the experience. The team welcomed us so warmly, and everyone was extremely polite and attentive. It’s a perfect place to stay, and that score is more than deserved.

The staff were excellent, and the pool was lovely. It’s a peaceful, cozy place, and I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ll come back again.
