Pousada São Francisco

My wife spent a day there. The place was in poor shape and very dirty, with rooms in terrible condition and unhygienic. The attendant was friendly and helpful, but that didn’t make up for the lack of cleanliness. The photos are misleading.

The rooms are small and pretty rundown, though they do have air conditioning and a minibar. We booked after being told breakfast was included, but there wasn’t any. Our shower wasn’t working, so we had to use the one in another room.

The colorful, playful decorations are really appealing, and there’s a great shower and a shared kitchen. I’d take a closer look at how the bedding is handled, though. The sheets seemed like they hadn’t been changed, since I found someone else’s hair on them.

We were going to book until we called. The person on the phone was so rude. I’m not your child! I don’t recommend it. There’s no breakfast either.
