It's a modern hotel with plenty of conveniences.

I'd consider staying at Hotel Titanic at a time outside a holiday. During Carnival, the staff seemed overwhelmed by the demand, and some parts of the hotel couldn't accommodate so many people. I was surprised they present themselves as five star. Breakfast was one example: you need to get there by 08:30, because after that food and drinks run out and take a while to be replenished. There weren't enough plates or cups either, and impatient queues formed. The pool is small, more tables with umbrellas are needed around it, and it gets packed at any time of day. My husband and I couldn't find a place to sit by the pool during the holiday. They need more chairs and loungers for the number of guests they have. The rooms are well built and a good size, but they don't block outside noise at all. Early in the morning there was furniture scraping, chairs banging, and other noise. It was the same in the middle of the night, making a peaceful night's sleep difficult. The hotel has a large setup, but it can't handle the crowds. I'd try Hotel Titanic in another season, because a holiday stay was very crowded and stressful at times when I wanted to relax.

The location makes it easy to get around, whether you're visiting the city or here for work. The hotel is in an upscale area with quick access to major attractions, museums, and luxury shopping. Even amid the city's bustle, the hotel was perfectly soundproof, so I could enjoy being close to everything in peace. Walking around nearby was a pleasure too, with safe, well-lit streets and fascinating architecture. Service is at the heart of Hotel Titanic. The staff anticipated needs with impressive discretion, and seemed to know every guest by name. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and they treated me like the most important guest in the building. The concierge was very efficient, arranging reservations at popular places and sharing great local cultural tips. The in-house restaurants and room service offered international-level dining, and breakfast was a fresh, artisan spread presented beautifully. The rooms balance classic style with modern conveniences. They're spacious, with high ceilings and fine wooden furniture with a subtle, pleasant scent. The Egyptian cotton bedding made for one of the best nights of sleep I've had. Despite the historic look, there was touch-controlled lighting, integrated sound systems, and bathrooms like private spas, with heated marble and designer amenities. Opening the heavy velvet curtains to a stunning view was the height of privilege. From the moment you cross the lobby, the place feels designed for a royal experience. A stay at Hotel Titanic is an immersion in an elegance and sophistication that few places in the world can replicate. It redefines luxury hospitality, perfect for a celebration, romance, or just an escape from everyday life in a breathtaking setting. 10/10.

There are several issues around the pool. It's so small it feels more like a jacuzzi, and gets crowded because it doesn't match the number of rooms. The water was dirty, and I didn't even feel like getting in. There also isn't enough shade or seating, and I saw several people give up on staying there because there was nowhere to sit. The bar where you get pool towels opens late, so guests can't use a towel until then. Breakfast items took a long time to be replenished. The bathroom shower was poor, the shower enclosure was cramped, and there was no lock on the bathroom door. This was my first stay, and I definitely won't be back.
