Rodrigo loves nature, especially the world of bees, and you get to learn about several stingless species and taste different honeys gathered during the visit right from the little hives. There's also amazing jabuticaba liqueur and jam. I’d never had an experience like it. Get ready for something beyond just a place to stay. It’s well worth coming to see.

The inn’s owners were extremely courteous, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The rooms are well equipped, with a kitchen and hot showers. The climate and nature around the place are wonderful, and at night you can fall asleep to the little stream that crosses the property.

Rodrigo and his family welcomed me warmly, and he showed me around the whole property. I really appreciated the kindness and would return just for that. I also enjoyed my New Year’s stay, and breakfast was very good. Housekeeping needed more attention, though. The room bin was full and wasn’t emptied, and the mat between the tub and shower was soaked and left unchanged. Hanging it up didn’t help because it was so cold and there wasn’t any sun. In rainy, cold weather, I think the towels should be changed every day too. Mine stayed very wet, so I had to light the fireplace and dry them in front of it.

We loved it. Rodrigo and his family were so welcoming, helpful, and polite. The place is beautiful, and the cottages are cozy. You can tell from the little details that they care about making the stay a good one. Breakfast was generous, with things they make themselves.
