Renata and another woman gave us wonderful service. I really liked the location: it's near the center, about a 10 to 15 minute walk, and also close to the waterfalls. There's a market right across the street, and a restaurant and Tranquilo chocolate shop about a five-minute walk away. The room was simple, clean, and had air conditioning. Breakfast was simple but tasty. My family and I really enjoyed our stay.

They were always attentive to keeping everything just right, and I can't think of anything I'd rate below five stars. Breakfast was simple, the kind you'd expect at a pousada, but the quality was excellent. Everything was fresh, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, eggs with bacon, and warm pão de queijo. My room was huge and very comfortable. The beds are upstairs, though, so it isn't suitable for someone with limited mobility. It was a wonderful stay.
