We spent four days at Vila Luna Pousada, and breakfast was a highlight every morning. There was a good range of well-prepared food, fresh tropical juices, and slices of the fruit too. The staff made a big difference to the trip, helping with our needs and arranging restaurants outside the hotel, jeep tours, and even a fantastic Jazz show. They treated us wonderfully from the start, and we even got a free room upgrade. The room was welcoming and comfortable, though a little dated. The restaurant and dining area have a busy pizzeria serving fresh, tasty pizzas in lots of flavors that you can mix and match. I highly recommend Vila Luna Pousada. The friendly staff and their help made the trip well worth it.

Even with a cloudy, rainy weekend, Pousada Villa Luna in Penedo was calm, pleasant, and beautifully kept. It looked just like the promotional photos. The mostly flat, tree-filled grounds make it a good option for anyone with mobility difficulties, and it’s less than a five-minute walk from the center, restaurants, and main attractions. We stayed in suite 6. The room was cozy and comfortable, with green decor that helped me switch off from everyday life. The gas-heated shower got very hot. Staff were attentive, polite, and thoughtful throughout. Breakfast was generous, with breads, fruit, juices, and detox juice. The made-to-order scrambled eggs and pancakes were a standout. We had such a good experience that I had to leave a review.
