Vert Hotel Spa

It's a very comfortable hotel in Penedo, close to downtown, where there are plenty of restaurants and things to do. I had an amazing stay.

Some areas were still being built, but I had a nice experience there.

I've stayed at Vert in penedo four times with family and friends. I really like the hotel's location and atmosphere, and the rooms are as comfortable as ever. The pool was perfect. The breakfast, though, was a letdown compared with my past visits: the bread was a little dry and repetitive, and the cakes were dry and poorly decorated. I also noticed dirt on the fruit, and dead insects in the window planter, which looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for days. Reception service has slipped a bit. The rest of us really missed Gabriel, who always treated us with care, attention, and politeness. Losing that kind of talent is a real loss for the hotel. Thanks to João Vitor and Larissa. This is meant as constructive criticism.

The resort itself is lovely and breakfast was good, but I had a bad experience that crossed a line. A staff member tried to contact me on WhatsApp and Instagram from his personal phone, rather than through the hotel's official WhatsApp, and I found it completely inappropriate that he looked me up on social media. My room's power had been turned off while I was out at dinner with four friends, apparently so he could later offer to help. My friends had already turned it back on. When we returned, he stood outside my door for ten minutes and knocked five times, carrying a pre-written message about helping restore the power. I hadn't told reception about the outage, so he couldn't have known it had happened. The power was off only in my room, which was next to my friends' room and not beside any other rooms. My friends had to send him away, and I was scared he might just come in. I spent the night with a chair against the door. I reported what happened to reception and was promised a refund, but I still haven't received it. I didn't feel the situation was taken seriously, and I'm still waiting for a response. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone traveling alone.
