Hotel Santa Rita Itu

Really top notch.

It's a good hotel, but some basic things need work. There was only one outlet in the room, another in the bathroom, and the minibar outlet, though there wasn't even water in the minibar. The breakfast was simple, just the usual basics, and there are plenty of places you can walk to nearby. The bedding and towels didn't smell fresh, as if they'd been washed with harsh soda soap, and the towels were very rough. The pillows were much too soft and smelled bad too. Small details like these make a difference. 😊

We only stayed one night because it wasn't comfortable enough to stay longer. In our room the shower had an electrical short, and they moved us to another room, but it was very small and the bathroom was awful for showering. The hotel used to be very good, but now it doesn't offer the comfort or breakfast quality for the price. Breakfast has really gone downhill: the juice was more like a drink mix, the cups were small American-style ones, there wasn't much fruit, and margarine came only in sachets. The hours were also awful, just 6 to 9 in the morning. Fernando at reception was in a very bad mood. We went on 02/06/2025. My rating is 6.

The atmosphere feels very welcoming, the rooms are well cared for, and breakfast has a lot of variety. My only reservation is the Wi-Fi quality, which keeps fluctuating and sometimes doesn't work.
