San Raphael Country

The room problems were never dealt with, even after we complained more than once. The staff seemed overwhelmed and as though they'd never managed a full house before. It was a very disappointing stay, and I wouldn't come back unless they made major improvements. For the price, it definitely wasn't worth it. My room had a broken window that they never repaired, and my AC didn't work properly. A friend staying at the hotel had a leaking air conditioner, but nothing was done about that either. The faulty locks were the worst part. I kept getting locked out, and when I raised it with staff, they said the locks were “vintage.” That doesn't excuse locks that don't work. It seemed they hadn't prepared for the number of guests, possibly because a convention and wedding were happening at the same time. It felt like they had overbooked and put people in rooms that weren't in proper condition.
