One Hotel

Great.

The hotel itself is in great shape, new and well looked after, and we were very happy with our stay. I had the best room and liked everything about it. Públio greeted us and was cordial with us, though in the brief interaction we saw, he came across as somewhat rude to a few other guests. Even so, he served us well, including checking with management about a lower price than the one we'd seen advertised on hotéis.com. The hotel is close to a highway leading out of town. We'd recommend staying here.

The breakfast was exceptionally good, but the room brought the rating down. The air conditioner couldn't keep up with the size of the room, so it got hot and uncomfortable. The mattress was very soft, and there was a cockroach in the bathroom in the morning. The highway is under construction right now, which makes getting into the area difficult, and the hotel is far from everything. I also didn't give the service five stars because the night receptionist was rude, saying I was the only one complaining about the air conditioning. Just look at the guest reviews. This seems to be an ongoing problem, and they urgently need stronger units in the rooms.

The rooms and beds were really comfortable, and it was quiet around the hotel. I had a wonderful stay, the place is cozy and very good, and breakfast was unforgettable. There was so much to eat and drink, you almost couldn't decide, haha. My only suggestion is to replace the room TVs with newer models that have apps like Netflix. I have an account, so I could just log in. The parking is inside the property, though it's uncovered.
